APA honours longstanding members during its 2024 AGM

The Amerindian Peoples Association (APA) Secretariat honoured several distinguished members on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, during its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the Mirage Banquet Hall in Georgetown. The recognition highlighted the invaluable contributions and dedication of founding and longstanding members from various regions across Guyana.

These individuals have played a pivotal role in advancing Indigenous Peoples’ rights and supporting the APA’s work over the years. Their efforts have significantly contributed to strengthening Indigenous representation, promoting land rights, and preserving cultural heritage.
