Monitoring Exchange Visit
A monitoring exchange visit was organised by the APA for a team from the Upper Mazaruni District Council (UMDC) to learn from the Monitoring activities of the South Rupununi District Council (SRDC). This activity saw four representatives travelling to the village of Shulinab in South Central Rupununi to participate in a training and exchange visit.
Participants then returned to their community and reported to the UMDC which helped to shape their own monitoring activities. Additionally, monitors from the SRDC participated in meetings of the UMDC to share thier experience on how monitoring activies occur in the Rupununi.
